I have a paper coming out in the Journal of Economics in December and so the proof corrections were due in Bev's hands by tomorrow (Oct. 12) so I spent the day going over the 19 pages!  Only a few corrections, luckily.  Interesting to review what I wrote.  Anyway, I just chatted with her (we are 12 hours from East Coast time so 13 from Iowa).  Skype sure is a wonderful and cheap way to chat - although the connection seems a bit off since we've returned from the National Holiday.  Still can't get over that the stock market shuts down for the whole week too!  EVERYTHING!  Then we come back in the middle of a Typhoon, go figure!

Still trying to move around after dinner: three great dishes, beef, mushroom and bok choy and eggplant!  Whew, I don't think that I will lose weight here - though from this picture in Peru when we were at 14,000 ft. I HAVE LOST SOME WEIGHT!!!   Laughing! 



Writing test tomorrow for the English (PFI) students and I also have grading of the Finance students assignments so the next few days will still be busy - midterms basically, though we only have a 10 week semester and finals.  Anyway, better get to relaxing!
