Well, I gave a test - and they all came - I TRY to warn all students, but alas - MY TESTS ARE HARD!!!!

Ask any of the students that I have had during the past 21+ years!  OK - I know ...

SO, I didn't put any multiple choice on the test - some of those can be "tricky" in that they are nuance questions, that is do you just kind of understand the concept or do you REALLY understand the question?!?  So I didn't place those on the test - besides, those questions often are hard to read (take time) for AMERCIANS, let alone english as a second language, Chinese students.  Furthermore, I make PowerPoint slides and put them on the website and said - STUDY the PPT!!!  Finally, they get a formula sheet - one side, A4 paper (close to 8.5 x 11 but in metric, I believe - printers, Word, Excel, etc. all are fitted with A4 paper - THE REST OF THE WORLD USES METRIC - DUH! - Even RICHARD NIXON, as President, tried to get us to switch to metric!  So much for 10 year VOLUNTARY mechanisms!  If we don't wanna do it, we donna half tah!  AN YAH CANNA MAKE ME! - Sorry, off the soap box!).

A lilttle levity as I begin to grade the tests.  No worries as there are always some students who are AWESOME, I just want them all to be!  Sigh - I wasn't the ... ah, a very ... ah, I ENJOYED my undergraduate degree!!!  AND PAID FOR IT WHEN I BEGAN MY MASTERS AND DOCTORATE!!  Just shows, you can ALWAYS work hard and achieve WHATEVER you want.  Just believe.

OK - better get to grading!
