Nanjing Lu

A nice picture looking down Nanjing pedestrian street.  The place most foreigners (and Chinese tourists) walk to the Bund - the old classic foreign section of Shanghai.  The foreign section was basically walled off and foreigners had "extraterritoriality" in this area.  The time I am talking about is pre-Japanese invasion before World War II.

See anything you recognize?  Laughing - I was on my way to pick up my new jacket, coat and shirts that were tailor made at the Shanghai South Bund Spinning Market - better known as the Fabric Market!

Oops, have to go in and substitute!
