Thanksgiving - Giving Thanks to you!

Thanks for all!

What a wonderful day.  I started grading at 3 am - grades have to be in tomorrow morning as we have a Nobel conference all day and leave Jia Ding at 8 am!  I still have a few tests to grade but most is done.

At one thirty we headed for the Bao Shan campus and a fantastic free ballet put on by the National Company - a real special treat and our seats were awesome.

Then we went over to the Hongqiao Marriott - Hongqiao airport is where we flew up to Inner Mongolia and back.  They have the best Thanksgiving dinner, we are told and we are fully supportive!  WOW - a nice spread with one glass of mulled wine or apple cider included (we had a couple of beers first).  Then we had muscles, oysters, shrimp, lobster, salmon, sushi, ham, turkey, etc. with brussel sprouts, cauliflower, corn on the cob and blue cheese and camembere (sp) sorry, I have been up since 3!

THEN THEY BROUGHT OUT THE TURKEYS!!!  There were 23 of us so they brought out 3, with yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes,  etc. etc.

OH - did I mention that we had excellent cheese cake for desert, with Hagan Daaz ice cream!!!  Yes, Ulf - Vanilla!!  Plus other deserts, of course - oooofff da!  Laughing - the taxi home was almost painful!

OK - off to bed so that I can finish grades before the conference - hope there's no spelling errors!
