178.5" Ties a record for the most snowfall in a month!
I just heard that Alta received a record amount of snow for January!
They already have 412" for the season and so will definitely reach the average 500 inches.
The two GREATEST months for snowfall are yet to come (February and March - March being the wettest!).
Last year Alta only received 401.5" so we're over THAT already. Salt Lake City will definitely replenish their water supply this year!! (All of SLC's water comes from the Wasatch Mts. so the snow is VERY important.
