Lantern Festival Night Picture - 3 Guys

Keith, Tom and Drew - we are at the entrance to the Old Town in Jia Ding, the town has done an excellent job of fixing up the area to look like times of old. The pagoda is in the background (just barely) and you can tell that this is the 15th day of the new lunar year, the Lantern Festival, when glutenous rice cakes are eaten heartily and fireworks are EVERYWHERE! The third day of fantastic fireworks - the Solar New Year, the Lunar New Year and then the Lantern Festival (as if anyone in China really needs an excuse to light off fireworks!).
We ate at one of the old town restaurants, which was exceptional and had a couple of beers (tomorrow is a work day so two for the three of us - after all, they are 640 ml beers, not 12 oz!). Food and shopping seem to be the preferred method of consumption for the newly flush consumers of Shanghai! They also love investing in the stock market - we'll see how long THAT lasts!
