The End of the Second Term (Winter) in Shanghai!

A few candid photos from my Finance classes ... they didn't have a clue that I was taking most of the pictures. OBVIOUSLY!!! ...  In Jia Ding, before the 8 am class, Wed. Feb. 27 - checking answers on the last problem set!

We ave on the 5th floor of the Teaching Building - there are 52 students in the class and the room has a BLASTING heater/AC - often I was perspiring heavily in the middle of class BECAUSE ...

As you can tell - the thirty five students in this class at Zha Bei do not come CLOSE to filling the 280 seat auditorium.  AND THERE IS NO HEAT AT ALL!!!  Except of course our own~!  One half of section 1 is shown above.

Above is the second section in the other half of the classroom.  As you can tell, GREAT speakers to BLAST the information AT the students but most of us have coats on, though it is a beautiful 50 degree plus day outside!
The temperature never gets much below freezing during class time, so we manage ... but the halls are definitely NOT heated/AC OR THE .... restrooms!  Laughing my ....   (OH, yes - Sarah saw me begin to take this picture and they asked for more once we finished.  Maybe she'll even send one so that I can post it!  HINT Sarah!)

I will have to get "posed" pictures at the beginning of next term, but then we will be learning Macroeconomics not Finance!!  Luckily I have been preparing them all term.  See you all in two weeks (March 17 - St. Patty's Day).
