Highbridge - a hedge fund company story
An article in Bloomberg.com caught my eye. Since we have been talking Futures, Options and Hedging in class - here is an awesome article on Highbridge Capital Management LLC. The two founders are Glenn Dubin and Henry Swieca.
The article is an insightful exclusive of Bloomberg called "Highbridge Duo Survives Rout After Hedge Fund Sale to JPMorgan." Highbridge continues to do well now (though some funds are doing much better than others), after the tough August 2007 times:

Interesting how the topics we discussed: subprime contagion and CDOs, are showing up in print, eh? I highly recommend the article, make sure to get to the end, where the money quotes are! For example,
Dubin's mantra is "You must be able to invest across product, industry and geography -- seamlessly,''
