Well, turns out the picture isn't that good!  I took it at about midnight last night so I wonder why?! 

Cara (Robbie's sister - Robbie has been working for SILC for 5 years) has an apartment on Fuxing Rd. very much in the heart of downtown Shanghai.  Her view of the skyline is vast and gives one a totally different perspective on the area.  When I walk around, I only see 20 or so huge buildings, from her 23rd floor we could see hundreds!  She has awesome views of the city out her bedroom and her living room - about 110 square meters total living space.  Nice kitchen and study as well. 

Oh, yes, downtown Shanghai ... very expensive (if living on a local salary!).   Since she works for AP (Associated Press) - that's an American salary and so Cara can afford a nice apartment.  Cara knows Mandarin fairly well and therefore can get around as well as do interviews in Chinese only!  Last night she had to work even though the party was scheduled for a Sunday afternoon/evening, however the interview was in English as David Beckham is in Shanghai - they're playing the Shanghai-Hong Kong United on Wednesday.

Hopefully we will be asked back for another afternoon get together and view out of the 23rd floor!
