The flight was a bit bumpy but we made it, blaring megaphone in the hall in Kunming and all!

Visited Mei Mei's - the place to set up all treks (although there are others), according to LP.

Found a place to stay for 40 yuan.  Back to Mei Mei's to chat with some folks.  Then to Mekong Cafe for dinner and another Beerlao - Laotian Beer that is REALLY great!  Nice to sit and relax - read a little, chat a little and just watch the traffic and people.

UNFORTUNATELY, either side of me is a cigarette - and I am outta here!
