First there is Mei Mei's Restaurant - for all of your traveling needs (in English).  Before trekking, next time I come to Xishuang Banna,



I will stop at Mei Mei's for a 7 yuan cup of Yunnan coffee and the latest update on treks in the area!  They have a guide book with lots of trekking information and the owners (sisters) are ALWAYS helpful (in English).  Furthermore, you will often find trekkers and other travelers waiting to share any information they have had.  The trick is to get out of Mei Mei's!
