Wonderful rainy day in Shanghai!

The weather is wonderful as we have had awesome spring days, with the proverbial college students out on the central campus lawn, doing that "SPRING THING!"  Clothes have become more minimal, the flowers are becoming vibrant and now we get an awesome spring rain to wash away some of the grime as well as refresh and replenish!

Coming from summer (Xishuang Banna) to winter/early spring, caused havoc on my system somehow (could also be those two flights in the planes' with everyone else's germs).  Ah well, it has taken me longer to post all of the pictures of the bike trip (Dai villages), etc. - there are still 5 posts to come, I believe.

I will post the links on a future slide, so named, allowing the pictures to be viewed in common rather than you having to hunt through the past weeks for them.

As I look out my big picture window I notice the crane has come down on the new dormitory across campus.  They build so quickly here in China, but again I will save that for a future post.

Add: Currently at 9:00 am (Saturday) in Shanghai the temperature is  54 F/14C, high 55 (we'll beat that), Monday's high 66F/19C with low of 48F/9C - the weather is expected to be clear after the rain blows through today.
