I have a huge pile of grading to do and some rest and relaxation is also called for due to the persistence of the Shanghai cold.  However, I have heard from many friends that also have the Shanghai cold in the U.S. - it really IS a small world!!!

FYI - I purchased a pineapple - nice and yellow, ripe as can be, two mangos - oh, my goodness, delicious!, three tangerines and 5 bananas.  Cost me 15.5 yuan, that's just over $2 (at 7.01 to the dollar)!!  I love eating in Shanghai!  It is SOOO hard to pass by all of the fruit stands (let alone all of the OTHER food stands) without keeping fully stocked with fruit!
