Odd having the last day of a quarter on the first day of the week.  Often the money and mutual fund managers try to "dress up" their accounts.  I mean they want to own certain stocks when the quarter, semi-annual or annual reports are published.  Therefore, the "end of the term effect" is a much greater issue on June 30th and December 31st.  Also, often there are end of futures/options type contracts too.  The markets tend to act weird during the end of reporting periods.  Just an FYI!

A great picture of Jane who runs, coordinates and otherwise helps all the English teachers at Zha Bei (she also let me have a place to "park" in between, before and after my classes).  Jane (sadly for us) will be leaving SILC and heading back to Australia after July!  Jane has been a HUGE part of SILC for 5 years!



Here we have Andrew, Richard, Mark, Robbie and Drew ... yes, a bit confusing (though Andrew and Drew are often located on different campuses).  Robbie has also been with SILC for 5 years and WILL continue to teach here (as will Martin, anther 5 year to life teacher, Martin was seen with Karen in an earlier picture).
