Lots of drugs for the Bronchitis!

I am not sure, but I think that about four days into the previous set of medicine (two weeks ago), I caught another virus/bacteria!  When you have upwards of 200 students, 50 colleagues and live in a city of 20 million (or so), I suppose one expects a few different diseases, eh?

So I went to the doctor again today (yes, again with Lindsay - thank you - Catherine's assistant and a VERY helpful one too, in the manner of Catherine).

The pink-eye was gone but the chest hurt, throat hurt (not good when your job depends upon your voice) and I had the phlem stuff (enough said!).  Bronchitis - yep, my assessment too.

So I got the full range - Chinese traditional medicine for my nose and throat and Western Medicine for the anti-biotic!!  (Levofloxacin - a heck of a great anti-biotic, bronchitis fighter, no doubt!).

So here I am finally on Saturday - after a very busy week, feeling a WHOLE LOT better than I have during the past three weeks!  I am very happy with the level of medicinal/doctoral assistance I have received.  Of course I live in Shanghai, but I believe the quality of care, etc. is as good as any I have had in the U.S. - certainly better than SOME university clinics!
