Breaking the 7 yuan per U.S. dollar barrier ... Rice prices skyrocket!

Here we go - U.S. Treasury Secretary Paulsen has come and gone, so that now the dollar can continue its depreciation against the yuan in the currency market.

Quoted today on Bloomberg.com and Xinhua official press at 7.002, down .017 (at China View on Xinhua, click on the Foreign Exchange menu item next to the Markets menu item).

Also if you haven't seen the newest, hottest economic issue now finally fostering concern, go to the Bloomberg.com website here to learn about world rice prices.

There are other good articles around but this one highlights many of the issues and concerns the best, in my humble opinion.

AGAIN - STAY TUNED!

(By the way, BEN SPEAKS 2 is still to come - haven't fully finished my thoughts - work takes precedence and being sick meant something had to sit idle.)
