Tom and I got together last night to transfer a couple of pictures taken when I bought another pineapple.  The vendors love to cut them up for us - everyone!  Many just eat the pineapple as they walk around shopping (the new past time in Shanghai, I believe!).



First he shaves the pineapple (with a VERY sharp knife, I must say!) - the pineapple was totally yellow and wonderfully ripe!!



Then he scores it, taking off all of the skin and beautifully preparing it.  There you have it!  A fully ripe and peeled pineapple, ready to eat!!  China style!
