WOW - not only was the crescent moon WILDLY visible and shining down on us (after eating WAAAYYY too much wonderful food at an "old town" restaurant) but the stars were ALSO vivid.

We could see them easily from any street with the lights on, etc.!  Actually kind of amazing!

Then after turning around a bit - VIOLA!!!

    THERE IT WAS!!!   THE BIG DIPPER!!!  URSA MAJOR!  WOW! 

Now that's something one doesn't see every day in a city of 20 million!  Grinning wildly!
