At a Wang Ba - internet bar (not a bar but about one hundred and fifty computers - fairly new and high speed - in a couple of rooms).  There must be 10 of these places just right here around the train station.  Chang chun is a HUGE city - 5 million (medium sized for Chinese).  The claim to fame is the palace of the last emporer.  Yes, this is where they made the movie!

Unfortunately, the palace is only open from 8 - 5 and I had a 7.5 hour train ride here, arriving at 7 pm!  I leave tomorrow morning and must be heading out to the airport by 8 am! 

Met some interesting people and chatted quite readily sometimes in Chinese.  Other times I definitely struggled to find the words but I am extremely happy with the discussions and fun that I had traveling on the trains.  Definitely will be a mode of travel next year often!

The Chinese cities are situated around the train stations as that's how most people travel.  The airports are at least an hour outside of most cities.  The buses to (and from) the airports are cheap - getting from the airport is easy as the bus is waiting most of the time.  Getting to the airport is often another story!  grin ... adventures.  I think that I am set for tomorrow morning but we shall see!
