A nice 12 hour drive after getting an alignment this morning.  Tom, the fellow who welded my axle to the car again, recommended an alignment and I am glad.  The car seems to be running quite smoothly as I covered around 780 miles today.

Going through Salt Lake City and area - actually most of the trip - was quite hot as temperatures were around 38-40 degrees C (that's 99 - 101 F)!  No air conditioning made the trip interesting, of course!  grin

No worries as I am now into the mountains.  Hell's Canyon is just over the ridge - will have to await another trip to visit that recreation area - looks like early June would be awesome!  May hit snow earlier and the road wouldn't be open, perhaps.



I may run the whole way up to Vancouver tomorrow but we shall see, no hurry.  Just lucky to find a wireless access nearby tonight!  he he he!
