Canada is now 141 years old (from the Act of Confederation).  My Aunt Pat and Uncle George have a wonderful place up in the British Properties (1200 feet up from the Ocean or sea level).

Unfortunately, the pictures of the fireworks needed a tripod, so I won't bother with them. 


However, after my long drive through the states and into British Columbia, I arrived almost at the Second Narrows Bridge over Burrard Inlet (a bay like the Bay of Fundy with over 20 foot tides).  I was 20 kilometers from my resting point and there was a leaper on the bridge!?!!  6 lanes of traffic were shut down for over 6 hours during Canada Day vacation - more than a few frustrated people!!!  Lots of discussion is going on about this now!!  ALL of Vancouver comes to a halt for ONE person?!!?
