Today I will take the 7:25 am ferry up to Langdale, then leisurely drive up to Sechelt where I will meet my cousin Wendy and her Husband Eric.  They will ferry me over to the North Thormanby island for a relaxing weekend!

My godmother and I had an excellent meal, couple of beers and discussion last night down on the water at Lonsdale Quay (pronounced "key" for those of you who are not familiar with British English!!)  grin.  We will meet up again on Monday evening if intentions follow their course.

  

Well, not entirely sunshine but very beautiful and entirely restful on the ferry ride up to the peninsula!

 

With a place like this to rest, breakfast served (yes, you must pay for it - $10 Canadian) and the views, what more could a person want on a Friday morning?!!?
