4th of July party last night!
Wendy and I walked along the beach at low tide on Saturday after the Friday night party. Not really a 4th of July party as Canada Day is July 1! However, we had a few beers on a friend's new property (over $650,000 for JUST the property - 10 acres), then down to the barbie for chicken wings, salmon, tenderloin and all of the fixin's!

You can tell this is a logging area with all of the logs that get away from the tugs and wash up on the beaches!

Notice that they live on a sand island, mostly with LOTS of cedar trees - which is why their house is made of cedar! Eric has a mobile wood mill and does all of the milling on the island - which is his second job (Actually he has already retired from his first job! Alumitubs they do on the side!)
