From Prince George to Clearwater, B.C.
I "camped out" in the parking lot of the Casino in Prince George. I needed gas and was really looking for internet usage but ended up buying a phone card for $5 in Quesnel (Kwin-ell) to call Kathy and Al (and my aunt and uncle in Burton, British Columbia).
Driving down the highway was still amazing given the mountains along the road and huge rivers at times. I decided to run out to Bartonville, a historic gold mining town, then off to Wells Gray Provincial Park from Williams Lake. The park is also called waterfall park as there are over 20 waterfalls in the park, many of which you need to hike to. However, the mosquitos are ... numerous, shall we say!?!?
Here's a picture of Helmcken Falls - see the huge cavern behind!! The area is between two faults and created by lots of lava and faulting action.

Being late in the evening, I caught a wonderful shot of the sun beaming through with the mountains in the background!

So I camped for the night to view the falls again in the morning (besides the rain started to really come down!).
