Uncle Larry is my godfather and moved a few years back to a place away from EVERYWHERE else in British Columbia.  You may be able to find Nakusp (pop. 1800) by following the Columbia River south from Revelstoke.  OR you may be able to find the Arrow Lakes (the Columbia River was dammed at Castlegar by BC Hydro).  Larry and Agnes live north of a very little place called Fauquier by 11 kilometers and 10 kilometers south of Burton, 45 kms south of Nakusp.  NO ONE lives near them, except for a few Osprey, Bald Eagles, etc.!!!

I arrived yesterday (Sunday) and managed to do allot of weed-eating for Larry as he hurt his knee terribly a couple of weeks back.  Then I just HAD to walk down to the Lake for a nice swim and a beer!  Pictures to follow!  grin

The picture shows you the Selkirk mountains and the valley below is the Arrow Lakes Valley.  Larry and Agnes live just up the valley a little bit.
