Only 1 month left for travel and vacation!!!
My current thoughts on scheduling:
I have to be back in Shanghai for Monday, August 25th so I will lose August 24th to the International Dateline for a year! Laughing! I must begin flying on August 23rd at the latest to make it. Unfortunately, the websites for flights will not let me choose any day after June 1, 2009, YET!!! So I will keep trying as I need to make a round trip ticket to Shanghai for reimbursement.
Here at Cariboo point, I will hike up Saddleback Mountain today (July 24) and then relax over the weekend or so (grin, of course I have been relaxing but we are at 1,448 feet and the summit is 7,600+!! so I will need to relax after too)!!!
On Tuesday, I will travel to Calgary to see my cousin, James (again I am in the middle of the Monashee and Selkirk mountains right now), thus I will drive over the Rockies from Revelstoke to Banff first. Then I expect to be in Washburn, Wisconsin by Thursday or Friday - will travel highway 2 and hug the border! I expect to stay in Washburn through two weekends (that kayaking "thingy") and then head to Voyagers National Park as Ulf has work to do there.

In the mean time, my Aunt Agnes' bromeliad has begun its once in a life time bloom!

Beautiful colors!
