OK, Maybe I need to revise my previous assessment of the best drive ever - the one down the Cassiars was awesome.  So is driving up from Vernon, through the Monashees to the Needles ferry, passing my uncle's up to the Galena Ferry, then through the Selkirks at Revelstoke, around the Purcells to the north - whew, they are amazing, then through the Rockies!!!  Amazing sitting here in Banff, I will show a couple of the pics as I need to get back on the road to Calgary soon.

 

 
 
 

Notice that this last one is a bridge for the animals, in fact there is a deer going over it at the very right as I took the picture.  OH, and as I write, there is a three point buck walking around and chowing on the grass in the residential part of Banff.  No one stops so it must be fairly normal, eh?  grinning
