One Year Since my decision to go to China to Teach Economics!

A year ago, I began my search for a job teaching Economics, in English, in China.  A little over a week later I had an interview while here on the Bayfield peninsula (the 16th of August, 2007).  Ten days after that I was attending the first day of orientation at SILC in Shanghai!!!  So an anniversary dinner and I made two pies ...

A wild blueberry pie (in the distance), fresh veggies, barbaqued chicken and the June berry pie.

It is amazing what you can do when a crack in the crust appears (grin).  June berry, service berry, Saskatoon, are all the same, I believe.  (Hard to beat the wild blueberry though.)
