Unfortunately when I traveled through Iowa to see Steve in Cedar Rapids (about 30 miles north of Iowa City), time did not allow us to get down to Iowa City to see Abbey (and her brother Elliot).  We'll have to get lunch NEXT time Abbey!!!  Sorry - as you say (in your comment), I did see your grand parents house, etc. but Steve was showing me where he grew up.  ALL OF THE PLACES I HEARD about for the past 30 years!!!!  So I promise next time we will!

          

Do you think Abbey is a fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes?  WELL, OF COURSE, and not just because the University of Iowa is in Iowa City, I bet.  grin

I remember arriving about ten years ago and being tackled by Elliot and Abbey upon arrival!!!  I remember going to the Natural History museum at the University with abbey and her mom.  Oh, I and cannot forget going to the Raptor hospital just outside of town - bald eagles, hawks, etc. all eating their "chicksickles," as they were called, eh?!  Lots of other good memories (and, of course dinners).  Thanks for the memories!!!  Take care Abbey!
