Crazy week, as you can imagine, business as usual plus trying to interpret the economies, "financial pictures", etc.

Chinese markets did relatively well, down less than 3% per day and still above 2,000, so far.  Much better than Japan, which was down almost 10% yesterday alone!!  Now we will see how the markets here in Asia react to the .5% drop in interest rates in the 6 large economies - China's central bank lowered rates .27% in sympathy (they JUST lowered rates .27% three weeks ago so that is comparable).  Also China eliminated the TAX ON INTEREST ON SAVINGS!!!  YEAH!!!

Meanwhile, back in Connecticut, Michael was winning accolades for his growing prowess!!!  First prize at the Durham Fair - Prize Sunflower!!
