JUST after the A12 (Jia Ding - Shanghai toll road), coming into Shanghai, "they" have decided to merge four lanes into 2 to "fix" the bridges (so I am assuming from the pictures below!).  Our travel time has been significantly increased by double or more!  C'est la vie!

 

We were actually moving by this point!!!  I didn't have classes today (Friday) but DID have to get my final exams finished, formatted (B5 paper) and submitted!  Only 3 weeks left in the term AND THEN final exams!

 

As you can tell, the work is always very labor intensive (even if there isn't much labor to do!!!).  Luckily, the temps have cooled now and we can actually wear a few clothes!  (Read this: long pants can now be worn without almost dying of heat stroke!).  grinning ...
