Yes, right here in River City!  (Shanghai is actually a land of many canals in which water just stands.  There ARE many water towns around Shanghai which I plan to visit periodically soon!).  Extra Sharp Cheddar and Butter!

 

Mom had asked if cheese was readily available, well not really READILY but they do import!  Even in the local supermarkets all you need do is go to the special imported (chilled in this case) section.

On the right you can also see the little chocolate balls given to everyone when you have a new baby (many colleagues are pregnant (or their wife is)).  The women get to leave work 2 weeks prior (I believe) to the expected date.  Jen (her English taken name) left saying she was due in 2 weeks, 2 days later we heard she had a boy!!! 

You can also see raisins on the right above the fruit (Kiwis from New Zealand), tangerines, apples - yes Chad, we get Washington Apples here too!!!  laughing!  Bananas, plums, hot peppers, oatmeal, a red onion and garlic were also on my shopping list for today!  The plastic coated hangers with nice plastic clips were only 5 yuan (or $ 0.73 each)!!  Great for hanging my wet pants etc!!   grinning
