A COLD morning to walk to the store (48 degrees F) as everyone was slapping their arms and huddling, etc.  But I was on a merry jaunt to pick up a few groceries and things, as I might head up to Beijing by Thursday night I really don't want too much food!!!

As I was leaving the supermarket/department store, these folks were getting ready for a performance - looked like a benefit for rescue workers or something of the sort.

By the way, the temps were freezing in Beijing this morning and look to be the same all week!  Oh, well - better take a good coat, eh?!?  And that long underwear!  grinning!
