TONS of SNOW up in the Colorado Mountains with Vail now reporting 24" - in four days.

Called my mom for her 75th birthday (WOW) and they had received 7" during the day in Denver area on Sunday!!!  Also a few more the day before.  However, as is almost ALWAYS true in Denver, the temperatures were to be up at 50 on Monday and 60 by Tuesday but maybe more snow on Tuesday night?!!?  Denver is so weird that way.  They may get a big snow but within two or three days ALL the snow is GONE!!! 

Laughing - snowing at Alta but still not enough for ME to ski.  At Vail either - the back bowls and double black diamond runs are not open so I will have to wait (oh, that's right I am a WORLD away anyway!!!).  grinning
