Avalanche at Snowbird, Utah - Don't Be Fooled!
Though the season may be early - especially in Utah, BE SAFE!!
From the Snowbird website:
One mile up the road at Alta, they finally almost have a 50 inch base and snow is still coming down.
From the top of the Collins Chair lift (the old Germania lift), you can see that it was snowing the morning of the 14th quite nicely. More is needed before I arrive on Jan 24th, however ... laughing!
From the Snowbird website:
Snowbird is where I learned to ski back in 1980-1, when season ticket prices had OUTRAGEOUSLY climbed to $9 per day!! You couldn't just buy a Season Pass for the whole season, Snowbird changed policies that year to per day tickets. My first set of skis, boots, etc. - my love for skiing and UuuuttTTAAAAaahhhhHH!! - grin! (Snowboards are allowed at Snowbird.)
