Markets are UP, no Nationalization!???
We have a rebound from the market yesterday:
I used the Standard and Poors 500, the preferred overall market index rather than the Dow Jones 30 Industrials that I posted yesterday. The Dow was only up 3.3% but the overall market showed more of a "bounce"!
The RUB: Nationalization is supposedly OFF the table and yet the banks STILL need to be dealt with!
There are TONS (literally) of bad assets (mortgages especially) on banks' balance sheets that need attention.
There is very little (if any) bank capital (think equity in your mortgage, for a reference) in banks' balance sheets.
What will they do? Stay tuned!!!
