Yes the pollution has been almost non-existent!  At least in Shanghai standards - below 30 in ALL categories for many, many days!

No rain today, thankfully but we are a "little" soggy - laughing, that's to put it lightly as some of the rains have been utterly drenching!!

There is new set of 1 meter diameter pipes going in under the road just off my street (Yan Chang Lu is my street).  The muck as they "dredge" it up into the truck has a flow of water coming out from the truck!!  Laughing - another little obstacle in my desire to get home from the supermarket with groceries and two new appliances!!!

 
An Electric element and a juicer!!   AND last night a new printer - 488 renminbi (yuan) - that's around $71...

 
The one I REALLY wanted was $119 - on the HP website (plus taxes) but HERE - it was 1800 yuan!!!  That's $250!!!  YIKES!!!

NOT EVERYTHING IS CHEAPER HERE - Electronics are EXPENSIVE!!!
