Upon landing in Manila, we arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.  Most of you will not remember but when Ferdinan Marcos was Dictator of the Philippines, Aquino announced he was coming back to the world and was assassinated once he stepped foot on the tarmack in Manila.  This was the turning point in Philippine history - no doubt.  Politics is still quite crazy but at least relatively more democratic.  Anyway, here are the signs we see upon arrival:

 
A quick flight to Dumaguete City (about 100,000 pop) and picked up by the Atlantis staff.  Room #12 is mine for the week - right across from the Massage rooms (spa, etc.) - yes, quite convenient!

I never went this way past my room after arrival!  Everything *I* needed was towards the sea - the dive shop, the dining room, the office, and the bar!

 
Yes, the "Dining Room" - quite the view, eh?  The sun has just come up and I have just finished breakfast!  Apo Island is above my head - one of the best dive spots anywhere, in my opinion!

 
Turn around from the dining room view above and we have the bar!!  The kitchen is in the distance.  Some people are at the breakfast buffet behind the bar and others are seated at their table on the far left.
