A few pictures of Manila - Mall of Asia
Yes, I had to do the "American" thing - SHOPPING!! I finally found a bread knife (and did get it into China!)
At the "Mall of Asia"
Of course there must be a bowling alley and ice rink in such a mall, eh?
Then there are the infamous "Jeepneys" of the Philippines!!
I have included two shots, just for you - gives you somewhat of an idea. Though riding in them is MUCH more fun. Any taller vehicle, like a real school bus, a la Guatemala, etc., would tip over quickly in the Philippines (come to think of it, they weren't too steady in Central America either, right Ronnie? She closed her eyes many a time! Laughing!!!
They really are quite fun AND CHEAP!!!

yeah, yeah, enough with the fabulous vacation. What I want to know is what the heck are toxic assets? The more I read the more I'm confused. Paul Krugman is no help. Also what are non-recourse loans?
