Sprucing up Shanghai for Expo, I imagine!!
Walking around the streets of Shanghai just east of People's Square we find a HUGE number of the buildings getting "face" lifts!
And also there are new exhibits at the Shanghai Art Museum:
The Art Museum is JUST east of People's Square - in fact those trees behind are IN the "square."

LAUGHING!!! I TOTALLY agree - which is why I HAD to take the picture. The workers were assembling it for a weekend and for what?!
Ah, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder (I guess) - grin!
