Tomorrow I HAVE to Give My Passport ...!
Tomorrow I have to give my passport to SILC (the Sydney Institute of Language and Commerce - Shanghai University) to get my new residence permit for the next year!!! (Visa)
I need the residence permit to allow me to re-enter China in August. My current residence permit allows me to stay only until July 31, 2009 (and re-enter China as often as I wish).
SO - until my birthday - June 8, $#%^ - I have NO PASSPORT!!! YIKES!! I always cringe when giving up my passport!!
ALSO, I talked with Mr. Koussay at the Syrian Embassy and he said that sounds crazy, to try to get your passport up here after June 8 and back before June 13 when you leave for Cairo. BUT YOU WILL BE IN CAIRO FOR 2 WEEKS - just get the passport there!!! Or at the border!! No problems - he said.
