Pictures from Luxor
Late but awesome pictures from one month ago in Luxor, Egypt:
First the pictures as the sun is setting:
One part of the temple columns in Luxor Temple above and a couple of pics from sculptures below:
Nefretiti the Queen next to the HUGE sculpture of the King.
Then there is the "Avenue of the Sphinx" - above 3 km long!!!! And the New Governor is renovating the WHOLE avenue!!! Taking out houses, shops, everything!!!
Above is just one of the Sphinx!
And then there is Night Time at Luxor - we watched the sun set (which is one reason for the warmth of the first set of pictures) and yes I have hundreds of photos but only chose a few to show.
A last picture of Luxor to show you the Grandeur - our hotel had a view from the 7th floor where the pool kept us cool in the 100 degree F. temps!!!
