In Chicago~!! - Waiting for a rebooking!
OK - maybe traveling Turkish Airlines requires EXTRA time to get from one flight to one's connection. Many people were VERY upset as Turkish Airlines NEVER said why we were 1.5 hours late in leaving!
All flights were booked last night and until 3:25 pm today!! Now on the other hand, I am staying at the Marriot Suites - Ohare Airport.
The Marriot Suites - I have a room bigger than most one bedroom apartments!!! Shower AND bath!! Extra room for make-up and two sinks - of course the big king size bed, but also a couch, chair, and huge desk in the "living room" - wide screen TV (yes, HDTV) ... OH, and an HDTV in the bedroom too and of course wide screen!!
Also Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch are almost paid for (tax and tip will be extra so I do have to pay a little).
STILL - how I am going to get from Denver to Grand Junction, where my car is, now will be a much bigger and more interesting adventure!!! My ride for yesterday was only for yesterday! And Amtrak is fully booked!!! Laughing - we shall see!
