Central Shanghai Buildings
Trying to get a little caught up, here are some pictures from the People's Square/People's Park/Central area of Shanghai.
The Grand Theatre with the J.W. Marriott Building (Tomorrow Square) coming out of the top!
The low building is the Shanghai Urban Planning Museum with the Government Building to the left up top and central down below ...
The fountain is quite a central piece and the kids (big and small) love it!
A pirouette will get you the picture below of the Shanghai Museum's backside...
Along side there is the usual weed-eating going on ... a hat tip to Steve who hired me for 3 weeks so that I could take a vacation out in Connecticut back in 199#!??!
Finally around to the front where the line was a half mile long - we'll do that one another day - NOT ON NATIONAL DAY WEEK!!! As a friend said, when the weather is cold!!!
