Expo - Early Admission
One of the nice things about Living in Shanghai, is that we sometimes are able to take advantage of the "testing" for Expo!!! Grin! For the past 6 days (I believe), groups of "tourists" have tested the facilities of the new Expo.

There are tons of facilities, I hope NOT to be here when these are in use!!!

We bypassed all of this for the security check, of course - no lighters!! Laughing - the pile was funny. Once through security we were able to use our ticket to board the "Expo" line - the future #13 subway line, which only has three stations at the moment!

Nice and CLEAN!!! grin

So I entered" Expo at the #9 Entrance below, which is the Expo Line (#13) Subway I exhibited above. The ticket below was my subway/entrance card. Notice that the subway takes us right smack in the middle of B and C below.

April 25th is the last day of "test" admissions, then closed until May 1 opening, which is sold out, by the way!

Obviously, the UN Pavilion to the left upon coming out of the subway station.

The Red Cross/Red Crescent society pavilion was open with a nice little line. (All the lines became longer before I left at 1:30 pm - early as my newly caught cold had taken its toll!)

Definitely not all of the venues/pavilions were open, by any means. However, there was plenty to do and see and buy, no doubt! More soon!
