A Quick Stop in Kuala Lumpur
While in KL we HAD to visit the Petronas Twin Towers, unfortunately we were too late to get any free tickets, they only give out so many tickets to the skybridge each day. However, we had fun using the Starbucks free wifi and shopping at the HUGE KLCC on the first few floors. Then a quick trip down Chinatown for some fruit and to look around.
Then I had the treat of going to dinner with a good friend and her family at a fantastic, huge restaurant in the middle of nowhere just outside of Port Klang. There are 300 tables and on the weekend, there is always a waiting line and little room to park!
WOW, was the seafood, conversation, and company excellent. Wish I had more time!! On the other hand, we decided to stay a night in KL on a lark, so the visit was a totally amazing coincidence!! I will have to try and return during the winter!!! (That is, when Shanghai is cold and KL is warm.) I am always thankful for having such wonderful friends. CHEERS!
