On to Sandakan
After a nice sleep and breakfast (came with our hostel accomodations), we flagged down the bus on which we had reserved seats the night before.
Nice AC - we watched the Karate Kid (subtitles in English), read and slept until 1 pm.
(The second movie, shown above, was Malaysian - we were the only foreigners on the bus and the seats were all taken - we were very lucky we reserved the seats!)
I am so amazed that almost everything is in Chinese as well as Bahasa (Malaysia). Here is the sign for the Xi Shou Jian (or Hand Washing Room - Toilet in English - but that word did not appear).
