BOOKED - heading to Mulu National Park
Mulu (web link) is an amazing place, however one has to fly in and out or take a long expensive boat ride!!!
Largest cave in the world, so they say - hike tougher than Mt. Kinabalu, AND jungle trekking!!!
We have been hunting, cajoling, negotiating, and otherwise working hard to get these tickets, bookings, etc. A very odd occurrence for us as we usually do NOT need to book in advance!!
Anyway, we drop at least half of our gear, including computers, heavy clothing, big packs, etc.
Back here on July 24th so that we have time for a 26th flight back to Bali, Indonesia!!! grinnin' and lovin' life!!!
BUT - before the 19th flight from Miri to Mulu, we will take a ferry to Brunei, visit for a couple of days and bask in the sun there!
